A Brief History

 A small business established around 1960 by John Evans and his Thrupp & Maberley coach works colleague Ted Pinto. Fed up with the constant need for another strike, they decided to take the risk and go into partnership together. Travelling along the river Thames, sewing machine in the back of the van, they would literally pull up alongside your boat and make whatever covers you required.

 After a few years of constant rowing Ted decided to go his own way!

 Deciding to take a workshop at Penton Hook Marina, John was joined by his wife Edith, who helped out in the office, and over time their 3 sons, Kev, Jeff & Steve.

 Today the team are, Steve, Andy B, Sam & Andy K, with more years experience than I can remember.
